Today is October 1st, and the temperature recorded at Lindbergh Field, which is out on the San Diego Bay, therefore very near the cooling ocean, was 89 degrees! Can you believe that insanity? That means that at my house, just four miles from the bay, it was most likely closer to the temperature in Kearny Mesa which was 96 degrees!
I have been tracking the temperature in the studio for the past month, and it sits right between 96 and 102 degrees on most production days, and 80 to 90 on non-dye days. I don't need any assistance from Mother Nature to be hot. I mean...really, if Mother Nature wanted to lend me a hand, she'd make the weather casters right for once and allow the temps to drop between five and ten degrees each day over the next four days. I could go for some weather in the sixties! I could also go for some snow.
COME ON SNOW!!!
